د. حمدوك ينعى الأب ديزموند توتو

يتقدم رئيس مجلس الوزراء د. عبدالله حمدوك بأحر التعازي لدولة جنوب أفريقيا حكومة وشعباً، في رحيل فقيد البلاد البابا ديزموند مبيلو توتو، الذي انتُخب كأول عميد أسود للكنيسة الأنجيليكانية بجنوب أفريقيا، وشغل عدد من المناصب أهمها سكرتارية كنائس جنوب إفريقيا، و رئاسة لجنة الحقيقة والمصالحة بجنوب إفريقيا كما تلقى تعليما متقدماً وفاز بأكثر من عشرين جائزة تقديرية أهمها جائزة نوبل للسلام.
اشتهر البابا ديزموند مبيلو توتو بأفكاره القوية جداً المناهضة للعنصرية و كان داعياً طوال حياته للمساواة بين البيض والسود في جنوب إفريقيا، وداعمًا للعمل لأجل حل قضايا الفقراء والمسجونين والمحتقرين، مستلهماً أفكاره من داعية حقوق الإنسان مارتن لوثر كينج.
رئيس الوزراء إذ ينعى الفقيد فإنه يدعو لأن تستمر دعوته في ربوع إفريقيا حتى تنعم جميع شعوب القارة بالسلام والعزة والكرامة.
Prime Minister Hamdouk mourns father Tutu
With great sadness and sorrow, Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk extends his deepest condolences to the government and people of South Africa, on the demise of the late Pope Father Desmond Tutu, who was elected as the first black Dean of the Anglican Church in South Africa. He held a number of positions, the most important of which is the secretariat of churches of South Africa, chaired the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission, received advanced education and won more than 20 awards, the most important of which is the Nobel Peace Prize.
Father Desmond Tutu was famous for his very strong anti-racism ideas, and throughout his life he was a caller for equality between whites and blacks in South Africa, and an advocate of the causes of the poor, the imprisoned and the despised, inspired by ideas human rights advocate Martin Luther King’s ideas.
The Prime Minister, as he mourns the great loss of Father Desmond Tutu, calls for his prayers to continue throughout Africa so that all the peoples of the continent enjoy peace, pride and dignity.
